Archives for April, 2007

I found an old screenshot from way back in the day. We were in ZG (Pre BC) doing the panther boss, when we all start dying one by one. To this day, no one seems to know what happened… either someone’s not fessin up or there was just a bug. Come to find out Blizzard was in the middle of fixing an "issue" they were having with whacked out spawn times on the panthers haha. Which for us, sucked… royally. This was back on Eldre Thalas with my Priest Prianessta.  I was guild bouncing at that point, so I can’t remember what guild I was in. It was almost 2 years ago anyway haha. Anyway, here you go:

Rogue Help

I have a level 14 Rogue (just dinged last night, thank you very much) and I was wondering what is best for weapons. I have heard some people say they went swords or a combo of sword and dagger. I dunno. I know that after 40 when you get riposte or whatever that move is, it’s good to have a sword because I get it makes riposte proc more? I have no clue. Help me out peoples =D Much thanks in advance!

One of my guildies, Shadowlife, was helping me with Cruel’s Intentions a couple weeks back. After we downed him, I drank me up some Noggenfogger Elixir and decided to take a screenie of the both of us on our epics =D Here I am in all my tiny glory haha. Thanks Shadow =D

Anywho, that’s it. I was bored and wanted to do something. So I made a blog post =D Whooooo.

So then, I’ve been avoiding playing WoW for the last two weeks or so. I love the game dearly, but so much has been going on. When I play I prefer to be able to play for at least 3-4 hours at a time. I can’t stand getting interuppted and having to leave mid quest. So if I can’t all the time I want to be able to finish the goals I set, I don’t wanna play. My Mage is sitting at level 65 and my Shammy can taste level 39. But there is so much going on half the time I can’t concentrate, so I die. When I die I get pissed off and log out lol.

I thought about re-rolling a hunter this morning when I got up. But I decided to do some site work instead. I have some other web projects going on as well. I have a cafe press store sitting empty at the moment because I have so many other things going on. I need to learn to proritize haha. But I always end up getting tangled in a million different things at once. Oh well.  In the mean time, here is a funny picture =D

The Blog Roll

Added two new people to the Blog Roll today. When I get new people added I will make new posts about the site. Anyway, on the first Blogger:

WoW Drama is a blog that is dedicated to finding all the drama that goes in within the World of Warcraft. Forums, party chat and guild chat seem to be a good source for your daily dose of WoW drama that I can’t go a day without! Pay special mind to the post about the guy who think he got his lover pregnant… a lover that is married to another man. Ouch! You know that has to sting at least a little. So yeah, roll on over there and check it the hell out!

Arms has a blog that has just about anything you can imagine in it. From South Park to Hilary Duff to The Darkness to Angelina Jolie…. he’s got it all! Nothing is boring on his page. I get sucked into reading more and more with each post. There are lots of pictures and videos with each post, so it’s not a whole bunch of text and blahness. It’s good, y’all should give a look!

I’ll be adding more to the Blog Roll every now and then. Doesn’t hurt to have a few friends to help out with the networking part of the web site. And also, I know I will enjoy having other blogs to read, even if they aren’t all about WoW lol.

Epic Mounts

I thought I would post a quick screenie of me and the hubby on our Epic Mounts while we were out in the Bone Wastes of Terokkar Forrest =D That’s really all this post is about haha. I spent SO much money trying to get that damned Kodo… with bongos on his butt ^_^ Woot woot! It’s so funny seeing a little tiny Undead on this huge ass Kodo! But I love it =D

So, I decided to make a post on the Official WoW Forums. That went…. grrreaa- well it went haha. I was called a ho, a slut, a keylogger, and fat chick (which I am damned proud to be anyway) and accused of being a sexist and a man haha. It’s great. Where else can you go from posting something saying, "Hey I’m doing such and such for my fellow WoW peeps." To "You stupid ’sloot’ quit keyloggin me and being fat" HAHAHAHA. When will little boys ever learn… more than likely never. However… all that forum bull shit got me over 1,500 hits to the site =D …. suckerz.

So anyway, today wasn’t a WoW filled day for me. My younger sister was over for the week and she went home today =( I tried my hardest to get her to shimmy up her soul to the WoW Gods… but it was a no go =( I think I want to make a hunter. I already have my mage, shammy, lock and rogue…. I dunno. I have this addiction for making new toons every other week, getting them to 20 and quitting haha.

I bought a PSP last night as well. I got Puzzle World and Death Jr. (the kiddo likes Death Jr.) I like it so far. I haven’t bothered to mess with pictures or music on it yet though. I’m a music freak as well so I’m sure at some point there will be hella mp3’s on it ;)

Well, that is all for now. I just wanted to make a quick post to holla at homie g’s.

Cheers, Jesster

Allakhazam is one of my favorite World of Warcraft sites. There have so many WoW resources there it’s unreal!

  • Quest Information (What area the quest giver is in, what the quest giver’s name is, how much money and XP earned from completing quest, where the mobs are that are needed for quest, etc.)
  • Item Information (Where to find them, what mob drops them, drop rate, etc.)
  • Mob Information (Areas they can be found in, money value, item drops, etc.)
  • Screen Shot of the Day
  • Quote of the Day

They have more than that as well, but that’s basically what I use it for. Anyway… so I was looking through the screenies of the day and I came across this picture entitled, “It’s Raining Men!” I couldn’t help but to laugh, because in the picture it looks like it’s actually raining men haha. Hope it brings a smile to your face!

Cheers!

Blizzcon, Yo!

So, they announced the dates and prices for BLIZZCON!! Oh how I wish I was able to go. People all over the Blizz and even the WoW forums were bitching about how much the tix are gonna costs. I would gladly chop off my left big toe in order to be able to go to Blizzcon! $100 is nothing compared to some of the other conventions I have seen around. I mean come on. If you are a hardcore player, then quit whining and jimmy up the money and go. Anyway, this was pulled from Blizz’s page:

Crimson Tears

My current guild isn’t really an end game guild. We are more casual I guess you could say. We still run instances and we get groups together to get quests done and such. We have 24 tight knit members right now. That’s is really all you need to have to be able to have a full run somewhere because there aren’t anymore 40 man raids. At the moment we only have about 7 or 8 members that are 60+ but that’s ok. Because like I said, we aren’t horde core. The guild started up a couple months ago. We have had people come and go, but we have our core players.

We are trying to do a little more recruitment though. We would like to get at least another 16 people into our ranks. That way, in the future, we can have (2) 20 man groups going at once if we so choose. Though, I have found that recruiting is a pain in a half. There are so many unguilded people on our server (Turalyon), it should be easier than this, right?

I know that starting up a guild is hard at first. So that’s why I’m not really stressing about too badly, but I would still like to see more people joining our guild and being active. If any of you girlies find yourselves on our server hit me up. Do a /who of <Crimson Tears> there is bound to be at least one person on that can do an invite =D

Love, peace and chicken grease!
