I’ve been playing my Rogue a lot lately. I pretty much gave up on playing Horde at this point, since they’re all a bunch of idiots (no offense to my friends on Turalyon). Surprisingly, I have actually enjoyed playing on the Alliance side for once. I’ve worked pretty hard to get my Rogue up to a decent level (67 now btw) and get her as geared as I can without spending a crap load of money. I have stayed out of instances pretty much though and that’s probably a bad thing. I just haven’t had the time, to be honest. (I’ve been dealing with a lot of family issues the last few weeks.)
I wore crafted gear for the most part (chest, gloves, pants and boots) until recently. And at the moment I’m working on rep with the Consortium so that I can get all my Fel Skin set. I made my gloves yesterday. Here’s my armory link so you can check em out and see what gems I threw in. Hopefully the rep grind won’t be so bad. I’ve never had to grind rep for actual items. Just for the Heroics and what not. So we’ll see how much it really sucks lol.
Ta!
So my stint with <Rendition> was short lived and big fucking waste of my time. The guild master, a 15 year old, whiney, tight assed sumbitch, decided I didn’t need to be there because a friend of mine and me were calling him out on his bullshit… well mostly a friend of mine lol. Basically he was saying our guild shouldn’t run Mag’s anymore because none of the guildies need loot from there, which is bull. 1) A lot of guildies still needed loot 2) Free badges and loot for 25 minutes of “work” (*laughs ass off* cause work, it ain’t) it’s pretty damned nice. But he insisted that we drop it. Then he started talking about Gruul’s, “Oh no one needs anything from there either, blah blah blah.” But yet we ended up going and he told the raid over vent, “Only reason we’re in here is so I can get my Dagerspine Trophy.” He said it jokingly, but if you were to see how he acted at other times, you’d know he was speaking truth.
He basically didn’t want to go anywhere unless is had loot HE needed/wanted. Quite a few people agreed. A guild master isn’t supposed to use his guild in order to gear himself alone. A GM is supposed to go where the GUILDIES need to go, because you are only as strong as your weakest link… and in order to NOT have weak links, you go where your guildies need loot, whether or not you need loot there or not. I remember way back before Burning Crusade I was the Co-GM of a guild that was clearing MC and BWL, but we still did places like DM, Strat and Scholo because we had guildies that needed loot from there or had quests to do there. That’s just what you do when you’re a guild leader. You’re guildies come first, hands down.
So after the raid in Gruul’s, we were all in guild chat talking about what an idiot the GM was basically. And I got kicked out for agreeing with people and saying he WAS a selfish prick. My friend left shortly after because she didn’t want to put up with anymore of their crap. I don’t blame her.
So enough of my rant. On to the good stuff. I’d like to give a shout out to Belzenef from <Exilium> for making my Belt of The Long Road for me! Thanks Belz! I gemmed it up with a Royal Nightseye and a Luminous Noble Topaz. My unbuffed healing is at 1798. Woot woot. Just gotta work on somehow getting up to 10k mana unbuffed… Dunno how… I’ll work it out somehow. Have any ideas Thur?
Anywho, enough for now. Ta!

So Rob and I joined the guild <Rendition> a couple weeks ago and things have been going pretty smoothly. They are just starting out with 25 mans pretty much. This past week in SCC, we downed Lurker (1st attempt we wiped, 2nd fucked him good) and Leo. Leo was a pain in the ass sumbitch that took us some learnin’. But we finally pulled our shit together and kicked his ass, too. It was my first time ever downing Leo, so I was pretty happy about that
Other than raiding, Needlles and I seem to fit in rather well. There are a bunch of like minded, perverted sickos in the guild so we fit right in *winks* Come to find out a couple of our friends are in the guild as well, I about wet my panties when I saw that Ziph was in the guild. He was in CT with us since we killed that stupid Blacktalon fuck in Hellfire. And even better news! He got married!! Woot woot go Ziph! His wifey is also in the guild with us!
Overall, I’m pretty happy about joining up with these guys (and a couple gals). I will say that their organization with raids and such needs some work. But the GM was apparently just handed the reins of the guild and didn’t really know what to do. So it’s a learning experience for all us, I suppose. Their doing a good job. We definately made some progress in SSC this week and it was awesome. Keep up the good work guys!
Cheers!

There are some stupid people in the game. I mean it’s a given with any game really… or anything in life. People are just stupid and don’t have common sense *sigh* So I was sitting in Orgimmar searching the AH for Dreamfoil because I needed to make some Adept’s Elixirs. There were 3 single pieces and a stack of 5. The singles were 1.25, 1.30 and 1.37g. The stack of 5 was 5g even. So I put in trade channel, “Looking for [Dreamfoil] LOTS of it. Paying 1g per.” I figured that was fair since the stack of 5 was 5g. I mean 20g for a stack of damned Dreamfoil is more than fair. At least in my opinion. Anyway, so someone responds to me and asks me to pay 100g for 90 pieces. I basically said, no, that’s more than 1g per and that’s all I’m willing to pay. I told I’m pay him 90g and that was it. He said he wasn’t sure. So I waited a bit and asked him if he was ok with that and if not let me know so I can find some somewhere else. He said he was, just give him a minute. So I waited… and waited… aaaaaand waited. WTF. I finally messaged him back and said, “Well we got a deal or not?” and he said, “I decided to keep it for when I level up my alchemy.” I had the strongest urge to say, “Well Jesus tap dancing Christ you fuckwad! Why didn’t you just say that in first place instead of fiddle-dickin’ around?” But, I really wasn’t in the mood to get reported tonight *sigh* Asshat. So, to sum it all up, I hate people sometimes. Yes, Greg, only sometimes… bastards. *shakes head*

So apparently this Sunday, certain Best Buys will be hosting this “Wii For Women” event. I guess they are trying to appeal to the female gaming community or maybe just trying to gather more females to spend money on their overpriced games? I dunno. But, despite the fact that I don’t really like Best Buy, it sounds like fun. It sounds like a neato idea *shrug* I don’t know if the one near us is doing it or not. I should look into that =)
If any of you gals end up going to one, please let me know what it was like and how it was

Do you ever start doing something in the game and you just really get in the groove and completely lose track of time? Today I was lying on my bed with my lap top on my tummy farming herbs while watching some much missed digital cable haha. Since I’ve gotten my epic mount on Amedeah (the Horde Priest) farming has become oh-so-easy and I don’t mind it so much anymore. So today I went out and decided to start from Hellfire and work my way to Terokkar, then to Zangar, then to BEM and finally over to Netherstorm. I filled 2 20 slot herb bags JAM PACKED FULL of herbs and motes lol. I didn’t expect to gather that many, quite honestly.
I had been waiting until 3pm to call my admissions advisor at OCA (Orlando Culinary Academy) to reschedule my appointment. I was almost back around to Area 52 when all the sudden I shot up like a bullet and said (in a rather loud voice), “OH FUCK ME!!!!! WHAT TIME IS IT!!!???!!!” Yeeeaaaaaah, my dog barked at me, which totally made me laugh, actually, out loud. He looked concerned for a moment before laying is 15lb head back down on the bed. With the appointment rescheduled, I went back on my merry way gathering more herbs lol.
It kinda pisses me that I’ve still only made ONE friggin’ discovery in Alchemy. I mean COME ON! I’ve made THOUSANDS of potions… I so totally lost count, it’s not even funny. And I’ve made ONE freaking discovery. I think Blizz secretly hates me… bastards. Anyway…
I felt the urge to blog about… “something,” so I did and there it is. Good night.

Patch 2.4 is live and I’ve been having “fun” in the Magister’s Terrace. On patch day, we (Rob, Matt, Tony and myself) found a rogue to group up with and take a chance at the new 5 man instance on the Isle of Quel’Danas. We did relatively well for never stepping foot in there before. We got up to the first boss with no deaths (easy feat) and we had cleared the first room and were all staring Selin Fireheart in the face. We were all set to go, the tank charged in… and I got locked out of the room haha. I had no idea that we all needed to be in the room. Yes, I know, I’m a nub *hangs head in shame* They at least got him down to 15% without me in there haha, I was impressed =) I rezzed everyone up and we down him with no problems. We got to Vexallus and lost one person, but otherwise it was a good fight. We moved into the next rooms to start clearing to Priestess Delrissa. Then a Server Restart was announced. We were able to clear up into Delrissa’s room but ended up wiping right before the restart. We agreed to just end it and try the next day.
I had a few mixed groups here and there that tried to clear the place but I had zero luck with that. We always got stuck on Vex cause he’s a douche bag. All my groups ended there. I was always dying because of that stupid dot that gets put on you. I still haven’t figured out how that fight works. But last night we ended up kicking his ass anyway and moving on… finally. With thanks to Lanfearr, Phian and Peiyotee, Rob and I were finally able to get the head of Kael’thas Sunstrider to unlock Heroic mode! I also got the Cord of Reconstruction. Which is AWESOME since I was still wearing some crappy green, I was so embarassed to still ahve that stupid belt. Woot! Thanks a mil guys (and gal)! I’m so happy to finally have that done lol. Now I suppose it’s time to work on the new dailies. *sigh*

So today is the big 2.4 patch that we have all been waiting for. I’m rather excited. I’ll be logging on to my Priest to head over to the new quest hub. I plan on making the trip with Rob (who is working from home today) and our good friend Matt. Hopefully it’s all it’s cracked up to be. We might try to get a group together for the new 5 man as well; we’ll see how that pans out.
My rogue hit 61 like 2 nights ago. I moved into Zangar Marsh woot! The hubby’s been doing a good job at keeping up with me haha. I still haven’t really learned how to play a Rogue in an instance. So I need to get some experience under my belt. I mean I get the gist and all that. Shoulnd’t be too hard.
In other non-WoW related news, I’m going back to school in May and I’m so fucking excited I can’t even think about anything else haha. I decided to go to culinary school for the Baking and Patisserie program at Orlando Culinary Academy. I start May 19. I went to financial aid workshop thingy last night to get some initial paperwork done. We’re gonna be paying outta pocket for some of the stuff, but that’s ok, what are rich husbands for *winks*
Anywho, I just wanted to drop a quick line. I really should update more often. I’ll kick myself later for it
Cheers!

Limeonade hit 50 a couple days ago. I’m rather happy with the way I’m progressing. I went from 40 to 50 in about a week. Her Leather Working is at 250, Lock Picking at 170, Skinning at 300 (duh). Her gear is pretty decent. Mostly crafted stuff with a few drops/purchased items. That’s not bad considering all the stuff that’s been going on around here. A friend of mine moved in with us and is staying the guest room. We rearranged the whole house to make room *shrug* I love having her here though *winks*
Anywho, so I’m in this guild that is made up of people that my hubby works with (among a couple other random people we picked up along the way) and our friend Matt (from Turalyon). There is hardly ever more than 5 people on at a time. But I do like that everyone knows everyone on a first name basis and that we all get along rather well. It just makes me wonder what’s gonna happen when we all hit 70 and are ready for Kara… what are we gonna do then? I dunno about that yet.
So since I’m only at 170 Lock Picking and I should be at 225 for my level, I’ve been running around trying to gather Worn Lockboxes and finding footlockers to have my way with haha. I’ve got a bank FULL of Sturdy Lockboxes and those should get me to at least 225… if not 250. I’ve also gotta gather some more Rugged Leather to make a few things to lvl up to 265 so that I can make myself some more armor I’m in need of some upgrades.
I absolutely LOVE having Riposte and Blad Blury. I don’t know I ever lived without it! I recently respecc’d so that I could have them. I gotta tell ya, Blade Flury has totally saved my life quite a few times. Just awesome, AWESOME!
I’m gonna need to use Rob’s pally to mine for ore so that I can make some money from the AH. I am in DIRE need of gold like whoa! I need new weapons and training is getting expensive and I’ve got like… 10g on me right now =( How horrible is that? Pretty horrible, I say. So horray for farming, grinding and leveling shit. Woot.
Oh in other, totally non-related news, I got a French manicure today and I got my toes painted this bold, bright blue that matches the ball in my labret *cheers* Yay for pretty fingers and toes!! Huzzah!
Ok, that’s all *giggles*
Gee it’s been a while since I’ve updated. I didn’t realize how long it’d been. My Gnome Rogue, Limeonade, is now lvl 24 (very close to 25 even). She should have been at least 30 by now but I’ve had other stuff going on. I’m specc’ing her Combat. Seems to working out ok so far. I pretty much know nothing about Rogues at all so I’m going by Rob’s guidance since he has a 50 Rogue. Also, Matt, a friend from Turalyon, is able to give me all the tips and tricks as he has a 70 Rogue.
The guild I’m in now is made up of Rob’s co-workers haha. It’s kind of funny. They made their own little guild. Only think that sucks is that no one is on during the day when I am… they are all at work =( So there’s not really anyone to talk to or anything. But I’ve always liked being in the same guild as Rob *shrug*
As for my Horde toons, I haven’t really logged on them very much in the last month. The guild that my toons were in decided to kick me out because I hadn’t played in a while. *shrug* So the fuck what. No big loss. Not like they were progressing anyway. That and the fact that Rob and I were always stuck on the back burner and ignored half the time kind of made it so that I don’t really give a damn. Ok enough of my bitching
I’m working on the new front page for the site. It’s not quite finished, so it’s not live yet. I’ll post an update when it’s about ready. The writer’s for the site have started to sign up and get their material ready. I know that one of them even has a blog site here on WoWChix.com. I guess I’m going to need a Blog Roll link somewhere now. I’ll get to it… at some point
