I’ve been playing my Rogue a lot lately. I pretty much gave up on playing Horde at this point, since they’re all a bunch of idiots (no offense to my friends on Turalyon). Surprisingly, I have actually enjoyed playing on the Alliance side for once. I’ve worked pretty hard to get my Rogue up to a decent level (67 now btw) and get her as geared as I can without spending a crap load of money. I have stayed out of instances pretty much though and that’s probably a bad thing. I just haven’t had the time, to be honest. (I’ve been dealing with a lot of family issues the last few weeks.)
I wore crafted gear for the most part (chest, gloves, pants and boots) until recently. And at the moment I’m working on rep with the Consortium so that I can get all my Fel Skin set. I made my gloves yesterday. Here’s my armory link so you can check em out and see what gems I threw in. Hopefully the rep grind won’t be so bad. I’ve never had to grind rep for actual items. Just for the Heroics and what not. So we’ll see how much it really sucks lol.
Ta!
So my stint with <Rendition> was short lived and big fucking waste of my time. The guild master, a 15 year old, whiney, tight assed sumbitch, decided I didn’t need to be there because a friend of mine and me were calling him out on his bullshit… well mostly a friend of mine lol. Basically he was saying our guild shouldn’t run Mag’s anymore because none of the guildies need loot from there, which is bull. 1) A lot of guildies still needed loot 2) Free badges and loot for 25 minutes of “work” (*laughs ass off* cause work, it ain’t) it’s pretty damned nice. But he insisted that we drop it. Then he started talking about Gruul’s, “Oh no one needs anything from there either, blah blah blah.” But yet we ended up going and he told the raid over vent, “Only reason we’re in here is so I can get my Dagerspine Trophy.” He said it jokingly, but if you were to see how he acted at other times, you’d know he was speaking truth.
He basically didn’t want to go anywhere unless is had loot HE needed/wanted. Quite a few people agreed. A guild master isn’t supposed to use his guild in order to gear himself alone. A GM is supposed to go where the GUILDIES need to go, because you are only as strong as your weakest link… and in order to NOT have weak links, you go where your guildies need loot, whether or not you need loot there or not. I remember way back before Burning Crusade I was the Co-GM of a guild that was clearing MC and BWL, but we still did places like DM, Strat and Scholo because we had guildies that needed loot from there or had quests to do there. That’s just what you do when you’re a guild leader. You’re guildies come first, hands down.
So after the raid in Gruul’s, we were all in guild chat talking about what an idiot the GM was basically. And I got kicked out for agreeing with people and saying he WAS a selfish prick. My friend left shortly after because she didn’t want to put up with anymore of their crap. I don’t blame her.
So enough of my rant. On to the good stuff. I’d like to give a shout out to Belzenef from <Exilium> for making my Belt of The Long Road for me! Thanks Belz! I gemmed it up with a Royal Nightseye and a Luminous Noble Topaz. My unbuffed healing is at 1798. Woot woot. Just gotta work on somehow getting up to 10k mana unbuffed… Dunno how… I’ll work it out somehow. Have any ideas Thur?
Anywho, enough for now. Ta!

Patch 2.4 is live and I’ve been having “fun” in the Magister’s Terrace. On patch day, we (Rob, Matt, Tony and myself) found a rogue to group up with and take a chance at the new 5 man instance on the Isle of Quel’Danas. We did relatively well for never stepping foot in there before. We got up to the first boss with no deaths (easy feat) and we had cleared the first room and were all staring Selin Fireheart in the face. We were all set to go, the tank charged in… and I got locked out of the room haha. I had no idea that we all needed to be in the room. Yes, I know, I’m a nub *hangs head in shame* They at least got him down to 15% without me in there haha, I was impressed =) I rezzed everyone up and we down him with no problems. We got to Vexallus and lost one person, but otherwise it was a good fight. We moved into the next rooms to start clearing to Priestess Delrissa. Then a Server Restart was announced. We were able to clear up into Delrissa’s room but ended up wiping right before the restart. We agreed to just end it and try the next day.
I had a few mixed groups here and there that tried to clear the place but I had zero luck with that. We always got stuck on Vex cause he’s a douche bag. All my groups ended there. I was always dying because of that stupid dot that gets put on you. I still haven’t figured out how that fight works. But last night we ended up kicking his ass anyway and moving on… finally. With thanks to Lanfearr, Phian and Peiyotee, Rob and I were finally able to get the head of Kael’thas Sunstrider to unlock Heroic mode! I also got the Cord of Reconstruction. Which is AWESOME since I was still wearing some crappy green, I was so embarassed to still ahve that stupid belt. Woot! Thanks a mil guys (and gal)! I’m so happy to finally have that done lol. Now I suppose it’s time to work on the new dailies. *sigh*

Limeonade hit 50 a couple days ago. I’m rather happy with the way I’m progressing. I went from 40 to 50 in about a week. Her Leather Working is at 250, Lock Picking at 170, Skinning at 300 (duh). Her gear is pretty decent. Mostly crafted stuff with a few drops/purchased items. That’s not bad considering all the stuff that’s been going on around here. A friend of mine moved in with us and is staying the guest room. We rearranged the whole house to make room *shrug* I love having her here though *winks*
Anywho, so I’m in this guild that is made up of people that my hubby works with (among a couple other random people we picked up along the way) and our friend Matt (from Turalyon). There is hardly ever more than 5 people on at a time. But I do like that everyone knows everyone on a first name basis and that we all get along rather well. It just makes me wonder what’s gonna happen when we all hit 70 and are ready for Kara… what are we gonna do then? I dunno about that yet.
So since I’m only at 170 Lock Picking and I should be at 225 for my level, I’ve been running around trying to gather Worn Lockboxes and finding footlockers to have my way with haha. I’ve got a bank FULL of Sturdy Lockboxes and those should get me to at least 225… if not 250. I’ve also gotta gather some more Rugged Leather to make a few things to lvl up to 265 so that I can make myself some more armor I’m in need of some upgrades.
I absolutely LOVE having Riposte and Blad Blury. I don’t know I ever lived without it! I recently respecc’d so that I could have them. I gotta tell ya, Blade Flury has totally saved my life quite a few times. Just awesome, AWESOME!
I’m gonna need to use Rob’s pally to mine for ore so that I can make some money from the AH. I am in DIRE need of gold like whoa! I need new weapons and training is getting expensive and I’ve got like… 10g on me right now =( How horrible is that? Pretty horrible, I say. So horray for farming, grinding and leveling shit. Woot.
Oh in other, totally non-related news, I got a French manicure today and I got my toes painted this bold, bright blue that matches the ball in my labret *cheers* Yay for pretty fingers and toes!! Huzzah!
Ok, that’s all *giggles*

Well aside from working out a new theme for the site. I have also been working on my other site from time to time. Apparently, the current theme I’m working with isn’t… working =( So I have to look for a new template. It seems as if every time I start to think that I’ve got something under my thumb and ready to go, something else goes wrong haha. But I learn to deal with it (thank to the help of my genius hubby of course!)
So, the past few days in WoW, I’ve been farming for 8 Primal Lives, 8 Primal Waters, and 8 Large Prismatic Shards. Yeah you guessed it: I’m farming for my Major Healing to Weapon enchant. I need that +81 healing like I need something sugary after sex… and that’s one helluva need. The extra +27 spell dmg isn’t a bad bonus either. I DO have a DPS gear set that has a few extra +spell dmg pieces instead of my +healing stuff. At the moment, I’m using the Shard of the Virtuous as my healing AND as my dmg weapon as well because the last dmg weapon I had only had like +75 spell dmg, but the Shard has +116 AND mana regen AND better stats. So Shard=win! I do some pretty scary Holy dmg. Right now, my Holy dmg is at like 635 or some shit. My fire mage’s fire dmg… 529. Haha I just think that’s funny. Then again Thread is nowhere near as geared as Amedeah is. But still… my priest doing more dmg is kinda funny *giggles*
I’ve gotten all my Primal Waters, thanks to Exdingo (a guildie friend) giving me his last Motes of Water. I am still 2 Primal Lives short and I haven’t even begun to gather the money for the shards that I’m gonna need. They are going for about 22-25g on my server right now. I just recently got my epic flyer and because I ninja’d a couple of my hubby’s blue Jewelcrafting designs from his bank, I’m paying him some extra money on the side to make it up to him, I’m broOoOoOke. But thanks to Thur (another guildie friend) I’ve been able to start my Netherwing dailies over on the Netherwing Ledge. So I’m pretty much able to fill my quest log between my daily cooking quest, Skettis, Blade’s Edge Mountains and Netherwing. So if I really wanted to, I could be pulling in around 300g a day or so (even more if I would bring the mage over to BEM and Skettis daily as well). Just gotta get off my lazy ass and do it haha.
On a more personal note: Today marks 2 years together with Rob!! We met on January 20th, 2006. We went out and had breakfast this morning and enjoyed each other’s company. It was quite nice =) Smiling at each other through mouths full of food haha. I kept seeing old couples having Sunday breakfast together and thinking to myself, “Gee, I can’t wait to have lived my long and full life with my hubby… and still be grabbing each other’s asses in public!” Haha. I really do wanna be one of those old couples that walks though Wal-mart or Publix going shopping and feeling each other up at the age of 80 haha. I think it’s hilarious.
Well I hope everyone is having a good weekend, I know I am
See you on Monday!

There are so many things I want to blog about that are negative tonight. So I will try and focus on the positive instead. It’s not worth it to me to sit here and get even more frustrated by writing about it. So let me talk about some other things.
I bought my epic flyer last night FINALLY! After selling every single thing that had any value at all and scrimping and saving every last copper for it. It’s worth it =) Now I just have to kill Zuluhead the Whacked and I can move on into the next part of my Netherdrake quest chain. A friend tells me that it shouldn’t take too long with all the daily quests and stuff I can do for the rep with the Netherwing. I think tomorrow I’m gonna try to get Rob and Thur to help me out with the group quest. We might need another to help out. Maybe Tony can help. We’ll see.
I went to Kara tonight with Amedeah. We downed Morose, Maiden, Nightbane, and Curator and almost had Shade. But I ended up having to leave early from the raid. I’m not sure if they gave it another shot or not. The Maiden dropped my Shard; I’m happier than a pig in poo. I’ve hoped that stupid thing would drop every time I went there. I had seen it drop just about every time on my mage. But when I brought my Priest along it was never to be seen. So this was the first time and I got it =)
I played Koos a little bit today. I rather hate being Beast Mastery specc, but then again I’m just not used to it and I don’t really think I understand how to use it to my advantage. Not to mention that I just tamed Creep (my Ravager from Hellfire) about a week ago and he’s only seen about 5 hours worth of play time with me so she is only lvl 2 when it comes to how much she likes me. She’s in a pretty nice guild right now. I fit in overly well. Kind of reminds me of Crimson Tears a bit, I’m able to be myself and not worry about getting yelled at for saying the wrong things in guild chat/vent.
I’m thinking about trying to find a way to set up the RSS Feeds for the WoW News to update directly to the site. I need to get together with Rob and see if there is a way I can just make a whole new page for it to auto-post on. I don’t know. We’ll just have to see how that works out.
I think I’m only going to try to raid one more night this week and that will be only to finish Kara. If we don’t finish Kara, I’ve decided that I’m not going to raid the rest of the week. I have other things that I need to focus on and when I make plans in WoW my “other things” never get done =( I’ve been trying to keep up with posts on this site along with posts on my other site (don’t forget to check it out btw! Link is to the right!). I just need to set aside a set time every day where I make a post for each site and do that at least 3 days a week. So that would be 3 updates a week for each site. Not bad I guess.
OoOoOoK then, I’m gonna get going for now. More tomorrow hopefully

Dec
Hello to my fellow WoW’ers out there. It’s been a very eventful couple of months in the World of Warcraft for me. I was invited into another guild, Forbidden Legion, on the Turalyon server. I have been in this guild for about a month now. I only have awesome things to say about this guild. For a long time now, Robert and I have been looking for a guild that we feel that we “fit” into raiding-wise. We want to progress through the game not just get stuck in one place on repeat. I think we have finally found our place. Kara, Mag, Gruul… all on farm status. SSC is taking one hell of an ass kickin’ too. I’m very proud to call myself a member of FL. Not just for the progression… but because of all the people that are making it possible
I had just “revived” a lvl 60 priest a couple weeks previous to joining. By the time I joined FL she was around 66 I think. I was in shock at how many people were trying to help me get keyed for places and helping me with quests. When I hit 70, they helped me get keyed that same day. And I was in Kara that night. I was also taken to Mag, Gruul and SSC the same week as hitting 70. I couldn’t believe how quickly I was moving with my priest. Friends from the last guild, and even the guild I was in before that, couldn’t believe that I had JUST hit 70 that week and was raiding 25 man content so soon. Getting T4 gear and also getting pretty well geared up from Kara. Robert hit 70 on this druid and he was keyed for Kara almost the same day as well. I’m gonna link my priest’s Armory page so you can see how good this guild has been treating me: Amedeah’s Amory Page
Oh, I’ve had some people in my guild ask where I got my name from; someone even asked if I got the name from Beethoven. Actually, I picked the name Amedeah, because she’s an angel. Here is a brief tell-all about her:
Amedeah Implicated in the protection of women, Amedeah is one of the more sensitive angels of the Creation. This angel tries to increase the faculty of Listening and Understanding in the earth of every man denying his own sensibility. Known as the "crying angel", Amedeah suffers with every woman victim of violence and injustice. The water of her eyes is blessed.
Sadly, I haven’t been raiding the last 2 weeks because my back has kept me from sitting still for more than an hour at a time. But I really hope that I can get back into the swing of things. I feel so bad that I haven’t raided. But when you can’t… you just can’t.
The people in this guild are just amazing. They are so helpful and eager to teach. I know that I’m always stupid questions but they don’t mind and I get the answers I’m looking for. The Guild Master, Bulji, is one of the most organized I’ve seen, funny to boot =) It’s just awesome to hop on Vent or even be in guild chat and talk with all these people. Never a dull moment, I can say that for sure haha.
Ok besides all the guild talk, I started a Warrior now that I have 2 70’s. Troll Warrior, even. At the moment, he (yes, I made a male toon lol) is level 18 and he plays along with Robert’s Shaman who is now 19. I like playing a Warrior so far… but eventually all my toons hit max level and I start yet another alt haha. Before the Burning Crusade, I would hit 60… and start another toon… hit 60… and start another toon. I don’t know why I do that lol. Koos, my hunter, is 60… that’s when I started playing my Priest again (who was 60 at the time as well) but I wanted to level up a healer. I missed being a healer for raids. I think I’m just addicted to making alts. Insane.
Well, Kiddies, that’s all for now. Ta!

I have a level 14 Rogue (just dinged last night, thank you very much) and I was wondering what is best for weapons. I have heard some people say they went swords or a combo of sword and dagger. I dunno. I know that after 40 when you get riposte or whatever that move is, it’s good to have a sword because I get it makes riposte proc more? I have no clue. Help me out peoples =D Much thanks in advance!
